Trump Calls For #BoycottNFL Games If Players Don’t Stand For The National Anthem!!

As Football season has started back, so has the kneeling during the National Anthem. President Trump spoke out harshly Friday night, in Alabama at a rally for Luther Strange (R), against the disrespectful NFL players who would rather kneel instead of standing.

‘Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, “Get that son of a bitch off the field right now! He is fired. He’s fired!”‘

Trump even called for a boycott of NFL games, saying “if you walk out of the stadium even if one player doesn’t stand, it will stop!” I think he is right.

The disrespectful trend was started by Colin Kaepernick in 2016, who played for the San Fransisco 49er’s. Kaepernick opted out of a $14.5 million dollar contract and is still currently unemployed as a professional football player. Kaepernick was voted by fans as the most hated player in the NFL in 2016, and one NFL general manager said that 70% of NFL teams “genuinely hate him.” In 2017, there isn’t a NFL team who wants to sign him.

Yet more foolish disrespectful NFL players have followed Kaepernick’s kneeling during the anthem in this new 2017 season. The Daily Wire reported,

“nearly a dozen football players for the Cleveland Browns kneeled in protest during the anthem in a preseason game on August 21. The protest by Browns players angered Cleveland’s police union to the point where they will no longer participate in the raising of the flag during the national anthem at home games.

“The players not standing for the national anthem is offensive because of the sacrifices that people make that allows these guys to enjoy the success that they have,” Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association President Steve Loomis said. “While they’re benefiting from protection of the flag, they are kneeling in disrespect of it.”

Today, President Trump tweeted out again about players who refuse to stand.

Again President Trump is more connected to the American people than the elites like Hollywood and highly paid pro-athletes. The fans who attend a game, stand for the National Anthem. In the stadiums are hard working Americans, veterans who served our country and defended our freedom, and people who still get chill bumps when the anthem is played. Freedom isn’t free and it should never be taken for granted. It should always be defended and should always be something that each American is grateful for. Men, who get paid millions of dollars per year to play a game and are adored by thousand of fans, should be the first to stand up for the national anthem!

Yet now Roder Goodell, NFL Commissioner said Saturday that President Trump’s recent comments about players kneeling during the national anthem are “divisive” and show a “lack of respect” for the pro football league and its players.

“The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture,” he said in a statement. “Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities.”

AWWW, cry me a river of tears Mr Goodell and pro football players who need to feel a sense of unity and need to feel respected!! How about the man or woman who is a NFL fan, but has to watch the game from home or a hospital bed because they lost limbs or have other terrible lifelong injuries from serving our country and defending our freedom? What about the widow who lost her/his spouse and children who lost their parent, while they were away serving and protecting our freedom, that flag means something to them?! How about the police, fire, emergency service men and women who swear to uphold the laws and serve to help others because of what this flag stands for? What about all the people in the stands that love the flag and America, who spend a lot of their hard earned money to bring their families to the NFL games to watch your players play? What about all these people’s need for respect and needing to feel a sense of unity, which by the way is called PATRIOTISM!!!!

I’m on board with the #BoycottNFL. I won’t watch or pay money to organizations and teams who can’t show respect for our country and the people that pay the heavy price to give us such a wonderful country to live in that men can actually play a game for a living and become millionaires. Just think about that for a minute. So who else is on board for #BoycottNFL???
